rocking the cradle of pure psychosis
at its murkiest, one, two, three, until

gloom lurks in the corners
while you watch the cradle fall with
your eyes shut with frightened silence
screaming and kicking you in the heart 
so let’s break its legs to destroy, rebirth,
a sip of your own destiny with a cup
full of rust and sickly bacteria, dementia,
