I’ve loved words a long time, I fell in love with writing shortly after I signed up with tumblr. Tumblr is my first blog and when I started following creative writing blogs- my inspiration erupted. I’ve never been more inspired in my entire life until I started reading the works of other writers. I’ve grown close to a lot of people through here and I’ve grown as a writer. That’s why I’m excited about this blog, along with the poetry tag, I want to expose writers to other amazing writers.

It’s easy to say I love words, and so I will. I love them. Not only do I love them, but I ache for them. Tumblr is a wonderful community to be involved with on a personal level. You can find other writers and other people in general that share your interests in words. But on a group effort, it’s even more rewarding. Here, I am able to help showcase writers of all levels and genres. I was excited to lend my help as soon as I discovered this project, and I hope that Spilled Ink can grow into something large and helpful to the writing community here.

Words have always been such a delicate passion of mine, a form of art that has been strung along between the eighteen inches between the heart and the mind, fashioned into broken fragments of pure soul. Tumblr is like a twisted wonderland for inspiration, an atmosphere of interaction and admiration between so many incredible and wonderful people. Through this website, I’ve watched other people grow as well as myself. Spilled Ink is all about showcasing and exposing the many different styles and writers that grace the writing tags and I am just another hand working to help exhibit them.
